Vehicle History
Perfect condition with a complete history!
This BMW 3200 V8 S is the engine variant with 160 hp and was the fastest series-produced saloon in Germany at the time, with a top speed of 190 km/h according to the factory.
Only 834 of these cars were built.
The chassis number is 73815. The last chassis number of the legendary 502 Barockengel was no. 73863.
Only this last series of the BMW 502 has the 160 hp engine, front disc brakes and a gearstick. Servo-assisted steering was retrofitted.
It was first registered in Vienna in 1964 and rightly deserves to be called a “luxury limousine”. The interior is finished in blue leather with brown seams. The fully functional and recently overhauled Becker-Mexico tube radio features automatic station scanning. The wooden panelling was also carefully restored.
The handover documents were signed by Wolfgang Denzel in Vienna and are available. In addition, the original vehicle registration certificate and an original prospectus for the vehicle are also available.
The light alloy V8 engine has extraordinary momentum. During an engine overhaul, the main and connecting rod bearings were replaced. The sealing of the crankshaft was converted to shaft sealing rings. The vehicle is rust-free and has new tyres.
The car is registered and can be test driven by arrangement.
An appraisal report (1-) is available.
